Hotline:
Molecular weight: 203.88
Carbon content: 5.89%
Density: 9.18g/cm3
Melting point: 2690°C
Molybdenum carbide appears as dark gray metal powder, with the molecular weightof 203 88, theoretic content of combined carbon of 5.89%,density of 9.18g/cm3, and melting point at 2690 C. It has a very high melting point and hardness, good thermal and mechanical stability, excellent corrosion resistance, which is widely used in fields requiring high-temperature resistance, abrasion resistance and chemical corrosion resistance. It has a electronic structure and catalytic property similar to noble metal, and can be used in reactions like alkane isomerization with hydrogen involved, unsaturated hydrocarbon hydrogenation, hydrodesulfurization and denitrification.
